Public Works Assistant - Alan Williams - works under the direction of the Public Works Director. You will see Alan cleaning the streets, and maintaining the parks and grounds.  Alan can fix or repair anything.  You won't find him sitting around.  If he is here, he is looking for ways to make things better.  Alan is a great asset to the Town of Crawford.  When Alan isn't working he enjoys riding his motorcycle and working around his property.  Alan is married and has children and Grandchildren.

Town Clerk

Hours of Operation Monday - Thursday. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Due to the fact that the Town has one office staff person the office is closed on Fridays.  If you need assistance you may leave a message and someone will return your call.  If you need to pay your bill you may leave your payment in the drop box out front.  The drop box is a secure lock box that is under video surveillance.

Responsibilities involve everything from handling all aspects of a town\'s election proceedings to recording town meeting minutes, swearing in elected town officials, supervising in Town liquor licenses, safe-keeping of all official town ordinances, and resolutions, issuing of permits and collecting town property taxes and water bill payments. Town clerks must attend various training courses to assure thoroughness in the performance of their duties in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. The town clerk maintains the historical significance of all town records and is the vital link between the public and the local government. The Town Clerk is under the direction of the Town Council and Mayor.
